Bucksbaum Campus

 

105,000 sf redevelopment of the 22-acre Castle Creek Campus.  The campus is used by the Aspen Music Festival and School in the summer and the Aspen County Day School in the winter.  The multi-phased, fast track project includes new construction of two new bridges, practice rooms, teaching studios, three rehearsal spaces, classrooms, science lab and gymnasium and upgrades to an existing bridge.

The final phase of the campus renovation including the remodel of the existing 9,500 sf of historic Administration Building and the addition of a 14,500 sf Cafeteria Building, and 11,000 sf Middle School Building, and 8,250 sf Gym/Rehearsal Hall.

 

Aspen Community School

 

14,000 sf K-8 school and community building with an emphasis of sustainability and energy efficiency. The structure is a combination of premanufactured wood trusses, wood stick framing, and structural steel. The separate gymnasium is 6,500 sf in size that is structured with glulam frame with SIP roof and wall framing.

Windsor Mill

 

Windsor Mill is a 4 story brick and heavy timber building with stone foundations that was built in the late 1800’s. It was damaged by a tornado in 2008. The approximate square footage is 26,000, and the scope will include rebuilding the 3rd and 4th floor, as well as updating the foundations for a full basement. The planned use for the building is a mix of restaurant, brewery, bar, and general office. It is a historic building.
